At least Apple think so or it hope the developers will with the powerful tag line "Write the code. Change the world". Over the next few days running up to Monday's (or really early Tuesday if you are at some other parts of the world like Malaysia) Worldwide Developers Conference, we can expect people to attempt to decipher what the tag line or the graphics mean and rumours will be aplenty. It's always exciting whenever keynotes like this happen. Woooooohoooooo!!!

Peanut Butter, All Fresh and New
Here you go, a fresh new can of peanut butter. Have a nice weekend!
By the way, do you like the original, creamy type or the crunchy with peanuts kind?

I suppose the title is as complicated as the whole process of making this GIF of a Vine of a video of a flipbook of a GIF of a roller coaster.

Transport Tycoon Creator's Opinion About Premium Game Model
Totally agree with Chris Sawyer, the brilliant creator of Transport Tycoon (though maybe not so brilliant with the recent mobile version of Rollercoaster Tycoon - where you pay for the game followed by more in-app purchases in-game - according to many reviews) regarding the premium game model:
via Touch Arcade.
We wanted Transport Tycoon to be a fantastic value purchase where the player can enjoy the depth and breadth of the game without having to pay a single penny extra.I'm all for the premium pay once model and get super irritated with those games that make extreme use of in-app purchases. He further added value to the game:
We've even added more features and improvements over the last few months and players can update their game to add these features for free.Great move. Please continue, o' wise one!

The Pandas Are Coming This Wednesday!
The pandas Fu Wa (福娃) and Feng Yi (鳳儀) are finally coming and they are expected to leave China tomorrow night and arrive here on Wednesday. They will be quarantined in their Zoo Negara enclosures for a month with our prime minister visiting on 25 May.
It remains to be seen how much we have to pay to see the pandas after their quarantine. :(

LEGO and The Big Donut
What happens if you transport a huge donut and you live in the LEGO world? You still get stopped by police.
And if somehow you like donuts and happen to be in San Francisco on 16 May 2014 from 10am till 12pm, Flickr is giving away them free!

A Reflective Red Mirror
A reflection of a pendant light wouldn't be too interesting had it not been that this mirror had a red backing. This was taken at a Secret Recipe restaurant at Tropicana Mall which used the red backing to bring out its white wordings.
This redness also marks the end of my four-day holiday (weekend + leave + Wesak Day). Back to work in a few hours.

Self-Healing Plastic
New tech galore, this plastic heals just like us:
via Engadget.
Unlike ordinary plastics, this one contains a thin network of tubes, aping the human vascular system, containing two separate gels that react when they come into contact with each other. When the surface of the plastic is punctured, for instance if shot by a bullet, the two gels pour out, mixing to form a surface roughly 60 percent as strong as the original -- just like a blood clot would on our bodies.Wow.

一,二,三,四!
One, two, three, four, who can resist from snapping the photo of this sequential car license plate? Terribly zoomed in digitally and cropped to hide the alphabets so that the owner of the car will stay anonymous.

The Yin and Yang of Taufu Fa
Taufu Fa is a brilliant and nutritious dessert (if it's not too sweet, that is) of the soybean variety. Didn't dawn on me that there's the one with sugar and another one with gula Melaka until when both flavours appeared in front of me today. Yummy either way.

The Pandas Are Coming!
The pandas are coming at the end of the month and they will be staying at Zoo Negara for the next 10 years but, in addition to the RM30 entrance fees into the zoo...
"There would be an additional charge for people to enter the Giant Panda Conservation and Exhibition Centre to see the animals."
However, the price is still undecided. With great maintenance comes a great price (but not expensive fee, I hope).

A little "Chewie" about Star Wars Episode VII
The official Star Wars Instagram posted Chewbacca posing with Disney CEO Bob Iger:
This and previous announcement of the original trilogy cast of Luke and Leia Skywalker, Han Solo, etc. make this new trilogy something to look forward to after the rather lukewarm Episodes I, II and III. And having a lot of Harrison Ford in Episode VII? Wow, this is going to be big!

Thinking of work will destroy your weekend
Found something very true this post-Labour Day holiday about most people's lifestyles these days in relation to work:
To the rest of us with such bosses and with the tendency to think of work over the weekends or holidays, The Positivity Blog offers some suggestions: Promise yourself not to think about work at all, look at the consequences if you do and fill up your off days with things you would love to be doing.
Sounds very reasonable. Check out the blog for more info. Now it's just a matter of doing it... Sigh.
They will go into a weekend that they want to spend with a good book and the family, maybe with friends down at the pub or with going out for a hike or a picnic in the sunshine.
And then they will get lost in thoughts about work.
And so the stress will start to build. The motivation and energy will start to get sucked out. The attention will wander. There is no real relaxation and recharging happening.Bosses should really look into this and stop calling your staff to remind them of work, especially over something that can be discussed on the next working day!
