Report from Guardian Unlimited's article "Tea tree oil faces ban over health fear" indicated that the European Union might ban the substance over alleged rashes and allergies from clinical trials. It is also believed that tea tree oil also has "hormone-like properties that lead to gynaecomastia - the growth of breasts"!
