I couldn't believe this! Even statistics for crime rates in an area called Sentul could have big differences. Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Mohd Johari Baharum said (quoting from Star Online Nation "Johari blows his top over conflicting crime figures") the crime index in Sentul, a highly populated neighbourhood in the city, had risen by 82.2%, with snatch thefts shooting up by 600%, making it one of the city’s most troubled spots.
That was on Sunday. On Monday, Federal CID director Comm Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee subsequently “revised” the index to 10.1% with snatch thefts down to 36.6%. (!!!)
Which is the truth? :O
