Vehicles from Thailand and Singapore may still enter Malaysia for free for the sake of Visit Malaysia Year 2007, according to Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor. The initial purpose was to offset the petrol subsidy by the government that was lost to these vehicles when they fill in petrol within the country.
