Potential Aid for Alzheimer's Disease

Through an experiment trying to control a man's crave for food, scientists accidentally discovered a way to improve the man's memory instead. The scientists are now running trials on six Alzheimer's patients by implanting electrodes into their brains for stimulation. "So far, those patients are doing well and there have been no significant side effects of the surgery," said neurosurgeon Professor Andres Lozano.
