Just when I was wondering what to blog about these days, the Malaysian space programme came out in the news again. Call it the Angkasawan project as much as you like but to me this is a hi-tech tourism project to send only a single tourist to space. Today, in the parliament all was made clear. A total of RM39.11 million was spent for this project: RM16.8m by the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry and the remaining by other government linked agencies.
I am still unclear on what benefits this will bring to the rakyat. Please enlighten me if you have any ideas.
