A Spider Swinging By

It's really time to get crazy over one of my favourite superheroes in anticipation of yet another reboot. He's returning to Marvel for his solo movie!

The Jedi, the Force and Scoops of Ice-Cream

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

...before a new hope was found, before he knew the Force was strong with him, young Luke was unknowingly balancing his scoops of blue ice-cream, forming a force field to keep the cold in so that not even Tatooine's two suns could melt them away.

Afternoon Nap

Weekend's here! Have an afternoon nap.

Penguin's Corner

My first intention was to draw lots of penguins, starting from the bottom right corner but it does look good with just one, right?

My first real macro and it's a bud

Finally managed to get one of those cheap cost effective add-on lens and took my first macro with a macro lens. It's part of a wide-angle lens where you unscrew the front element and it becomes macro. The lens pair cost RM38 and I got it from Typo. This one comes with a clip mechanism so it's independent of any phone cases.

And it's with this that I realised how difficult it is to take macro photos. Any slight movement would make the whole photo either blurry or out of focus. =.="

Rooster's Sunset

Today marks the 15th day of the new rooster lunar year. Known as Chap Goh Mei, it's also widely known to be the last day of the Chinese New Year celebrations. It's always sad on the last day of a celebration but let's look forward to a great year ahead. :)

Banana Leaves Abstract

Can't help feeling the title is might be misleading. Well, I've been de-stressing with the Paper app again by drawing and colouring what appears to resemble abstract art of banana leaves.

Genetically modified apples won't turn brown after slicing

The beauty of genetic engineering. The unattractive brownish oxidised stuff that you see in apples moments after cutting them is a thing of the past.

2016 Marks Record Rising Temperature 3 Years in a Row

Uh oh...
Average surface temperatures over land and the oceans in 2016 were 0.94 degrees Celsius (1.69 degrees Fahrenheit) above the 20th-century average of 13.9C (57.0F), according to the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
But there's hope...
At a conference in Paris in late 2015, governments agreed a plan to phase out fossil fuels this century and shift to renewable energies such as wind and solar power.
They agreed to limit warming to "well below" 2 degrees Celsius (3.6F) above pre-industrial times, while pursuing efforts for 1.5C (2.7F). By that yardstick, the rise stood at about 1.1C (2.0F) in 2016.

Identity Theft Possible If Portrait with "V" Peace Sign

High resolution digital cameras. Portrait of people showing the "V" peace sign or any other way with fingers facing the camera. Identity theft possibility. That's how technology had advanced to and how people misuse it. :(

FedEx Works - "Art of Delivery"

Every now and then we hear about how the delivery boys rough handle packages. Artist Walead Beshty shipped laminated glass sculptures (containers?) that fit the internals of FedEx boxes and sent them off. The result - interesting fingerprints of "rough" deliveries.

Soya Cincau

For those not familiar with the language, it's soya bean with herbal jelly. Is 16:9 or square format better in this case?
