Alligator Blood Cures

After years of research and searching for cure to various diseases caused by bacteria and viruses, could it be that the cure is with nature itself? New discoveries in alligator blood lead scientists to research cures based on the peptides in the blood. These peptides are believed to be able to destroy 23 strains of bacteria and even a significant amount of HIV! Similar properties are also found in Australian crocodiles.

However, the actual cure may still be some time to come because serum produced tend to be toxic to humans in higher concentrations.Photo and info from National Geographic News "Alligator Blood May Lead to Powerful New Antibiotics".
