Currency Your Currency

This world maybe be really small, even tiny, but it never fails to come up with intriguing stuff like small American towns printing their own money and, beat that, it is actually LEGAL! Town folks will purchase the dollar for the currency and can use them within the town. Typically, a unit of that currency will cost 90 or 95 cents. Hopefully, this will promote spending and keep the money going round and round the community.

Apparently, the US of A is estimated to have about 75 of these independent currencies. Gasp! Bet our new prime minister-cum-finance minister will be itching to try this, too.
