An orang utan named Aman (peace in English), had successfully underwent an operation removing cataracts from both his eyes at the Matang Wildlife Centre, Kuching, Sarawak. Aman had had cataracts for the past 10 years. Despite a successful operation, it was not known how much vision will he regain.Source: Star Online Nation "Orang utan eye op a success"

Hope Aman sees better after the Op... just imagining how many other primates will profit from this inaugral operation.... yeayy!
Glad that medicine development is not limited to just us humans. We can actually save the world!
