Yahoo! Malaysia and MuslimMatrimonial.com have teamed up to provide a free online service for Malaysian Muslims to look for spouses. Check it out from Yahoo! Malaysia's link here. Even a mufti from Perlis commended that site saying it will be useful for Muslims to look for life partners whereas another corporate communications manager said that she would prefer the natural way, through friends or by chance.
Muslim marriages have increased from 91,990 in 2000 to 110,951 in 2005, according to Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim).
