Based on the results from Transparency International's 2007 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) where Malaysia is ranked 43rd (same position as last year but with an improvement from 5.0 to 5.1), Transparency International Malaysia founding president Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim said that we are still perceived as "very corrupt".
