More Toll Increase to Greet 2008

As promised by our government when they increased certain toll rates earlier this year, next year will see even more increases. Eight toll concessionaires will increase toll rates by up to 10%. Works Minister Datuk S. Samy Velu said that he will bring the matter up to the cabinet and probably find ways for the concessionaires and the government to bare bear (thanks, andrewk for pointing this out) part of the costs. Nothing is confirmed yet at this moment, though.
