Mozilla is trying to set a Guinness World Record for the most downloaded software in 24 hours with the new version of its popular web browser Firefox 3. There is a webpage (screen captured above) that allows users to pledge that they will download the browser during Download Day. The actual date has not been assigned but do visit the website often for any updates. The time between the above screen capture and now (where I just refreshed the webpage) is only a few minutes and already an additional 3,000+ users have pledged!Source: Spread Firefox via Slashdot
