Malaysia's Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek has proposed for a ban on fast food advertising and Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin has voiced his support by possibly stopping the ads from airing in Radio Television Malaysia, a government owned media company. The reason is so that we Malaysians will be less impulsive to go out and grab a burger... and some fries... and some fried chicken... add a sundae to it... the list goes on...
A very considerate point of view in the eyes of the ministers, of course.

What could be next? Soft drinks are unhealthy and watching TV series could be quite bad, too.
