Great to read off this article from The Star Online Central "Skip a meal to feed a child" which is about international humanitarian organisation World Vision Malaysia launching the World Vision Skip-A-Meal Campaign to raise awareness on hunger related issues.
Corporations are urged to encourage staffs to either skip a meal or have a light one and donate off the remaining sum of monies which they would have normally spent. Even so, the donation amounts were set at RM10, RM20 and RM50 for breakfast, lunch and dinner, respectively.
The campaign is hoping to raise RM50,000 for the World Vision Malaysia Children's Development Fund to fight hunger and poverty.
