The 2006 National Coffee Drinking Trends report conducted in January via telephone on nearly 3,000 Americans, 57% drank coffee everyday while 51% drank soft drinks."Coffee is gaining a higher profile among American consumers as they enjoy an expanding menu of options amid an exploding cafe culture," National Coffee Association of USA Chief Executive Robert Nelson said.
