Rapists Have New Fear

An anti-rape device that has 25 teeth that will sink into the head and shaft of the penis should there be a rape attempt. This device is called Rapex and is developed by Sonnet Eshler for South African women. There are many groups that oppose to this, mainly with fear that this will cause increase in violence to women.

Eshler on the other hand feels this device will give the woman time to escape as the attacker is still in pain. Besides that, this device may provide sufficient proof that a rape was intended as the attacker would need to go to a doctor.
